What information you need before applying

A short checklist of the details that make an application quicker and less frustrating.
Have these to hand
Your postcode and local authority, roughly when the property was built, how many bedrooms it has, your current heating type and — if you know it — your EPC rating.
If the scheme is income or benefit related, you will usually need evidence of that too.
If you are not sure
You do not need perfect answers to start. 'I'm not sure' is a valid answer in our eligibility check and your installer can confirm the detail at survey.
