How it works

A clear route from question to installation

No cold calling, no pressure selling, and no sharing your details until you have chosen who should receive them.

  1. 1. Answer a few questions

Around two minutes about your home, heating and household. No credit check, no obligation.

  2. 2. See indicative results

We show which schemes may be relevant, in plain English, with what to expect next.

  3. 3. You choose who to speak to

Pick a local installer, a highly rated one, or ask us to find a suitable match. Nothing is shared until you decide.

  4. 4. Survey and application

Your installer surveys the property, confirms what's suitable and submits the funding application.

  5. 5. Installation and sign-off

If approved, work is scheduled and completed, with evidence submitted to the funder.

Most checks take around two minutes. Knowing your postcode, roughly how your home is heated and who lives there is usually enough to get a useful indication.

We never ask for bank details, and nothing is shared with an installer until you choose one.

A verified installer confirms what's suitable

Every installer in the network is checked for accreditation, insurance and complaint history before they can receive an enquiry.

The survey confirms what your property can take, and the installer handles the funding paperwork on your behalf.

Who we are

myhomeGrants is an independent information and installer-matching platform. We are not a government department and do not make final funding or eligibility decisions.

We are funded by installers who pay to receive enquiries and to appear in our directory. That never changes the eligibility information we show you, and paid placements are always labelled.

How we make money

Installers pay a subscription and, in some cases, a fee per enquiry. Consumers never pay myhomeGrants anything.

Your data, your choice

  • We only share your details with the installer you select.
  • Marketing consent is separate and always optional.
  • You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
  • We never sell your details to unrelated third parties.

Common questions

No. myhomeGrants is an independent platform. We explain what support may be available and help you find a suitable installer, but we are not a government department and we do not administer any scheme.

Initial results are indicative only. Final eligibility and funding are subject to checks by the relevant scheme, authority, funder or installer.
